And because middle school kids (grades 5 - 8) are often overlooked, we have Adventure Trek activities for them. We are intentionally planning a week’s worth of FUN activities and lessons that will be sure to please!! In the works are: bowling, putt-putt, water fun, scavenger hunt, obstacle course with human bowling, jousting and more. This will be a week they don’t want to miss! We have a great time at VBS and as an added bonus, we even have yummy snacks! There will be one more informational preview at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, 08/06. This 13-week study begins 08/27. If you would like to participate but Wednesdays don’t work for you, pray about facilitating a class at another time. Each session consists of an hour-long video followed by an hour of discussion about budgets, debt, insurance, investing and retirement. No one will be asked to share any information about their own financial situation. Cost is $93 which includes a book written by Dave, a workbook, necessary items for budgeting, lifetime membership and a set of CDs. Please contact the Church office to sign up. Celebrate Summer It’s our centennial year and we are celebrating 100 years of summers together with an old fashioned picnic theme. Won’t it be fun to see how Trinity folks long ago enjoyed their time together? All are welcome! Also, everyone is encouraged to bring donations for BINGO and game prizes. Gift certificates work well, or ask some of your favorite shops if they will donate. If they need a letter verifying the need, just call Sharon, 339-3788.
