ROOTED: Colossians 2:6-7 "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, ROOTED and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
As believers we are called to continue to live in Christ by being ROOTED in him. We do this by digging deeply into God’s word and allowing our lives to be transformed by the truth of the Bible.
Rooted is our mid-week ministry for all ages. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 pm. Rooted is designed for the whole family to participate and grow in the faith. Being a disciple doesn’t stop at confirmation, but needs to continue throughout our lives as we strive to be more Christ like.
ARKids: 4 years old to 4th grade – Students in these grades meet at the CC for an opening of songs and connection time and then break into grade groups to discover God’s truth in meaningful and active ways.
Club 56: Students in 5th and 6th grades meet in the Youth Room at the CC and engage in active Bible Study with contemporary Christian music as a center piece to discover God’s truth plus games in the gym to run off some energy.
Pillar Small Groups: 7th and 8th grade Junior High students meet in two locations: Girls meet at our parsonage and the guys meet at the FLC. The girls relate God’s word into their lives in applicable ways as they discuss His word and things happening in their school and relationships. Guys will join the Sr. High for their lesson focus and then discuss in their group as they focus on activity and games as they hear God’s word related to them and encouraged to apply it into their lives.
Transformed Small Groups: Senior High students meet in small groups at our FLC as we start out in a large group by hearing God’s word followed by small groups digging deeper into God’s word together and are challenged and held accountable to live out what they learn, profess and believe. This year we will be looking at various areas including Reading the Bible to be Transformed, Guardrails for our lives, the Book of Mark, and Invisibles (seeing as God sees).
College and Career Aged Group: This community of young adults is centered on God's Word. They meet just a few blocks from the CC at 219 Crest Road. Anyone out of college is welcome to come.
Adult study: Our adults meet in the fellowship hall at the CC
