Enrich Your Devotional Life
We are encouraging everyone to start the new year by joining us in reading the Moravian Daily Texts. These devotions, ready by more than 1.5 million believers, will challenge and uplift your daily walk with Christ. If you have not heard of this resource, the following is a sample text: Psalm 130, Daniel 7:23-8:27; Jude 1:1-10, The fear of the Lord is Zion's treasure. Isaiah 33:6, Paul wrote: I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection. Philippians 3:10; Lord, we are powerless. Thank you for taking our sins at the foot of the cross. revew us by your Spirit this day so that we might walk anew. In Jesus' name we ask. This book is a great tool to develop the practice of daily devotions. Order your copy here.
Our Weather Policy
Weather is unpredictable and changes rapidly. Trinity makes every attempt to maintain our ministry through inclement weather while considering the safety of those we serve. Conditions can be different in the broad region we serve, making it difficult to make weather related ministry decisions. Therefore, in all weather situations, we expect people to use their own best judgment for issues of safety. The unpredictable and rapidly changing nature of weather can cause exceptions to the policy. Normally, the following will be our policy: When Papillion-LaVista Public Schools cancel, or if students are sent home early, Church activities are also cancelled. If the weather changes late in the day or overnight, and there are cancellations of Church ministries, cancellations will be noted the major TV stations, and our website at Trinitylife.org. Activity leaders are encouraged to contact their individual group about the cancellation. Worship services will not be cancelled. We encourage everyone to use his or her own best judgment about traveling to and from worship.
Trinity's Associate Pastor Call Team
The Associate Pastor Call Committee has been formed. The Church Council thanks Jeff Thompson, Amy Masek, Arlyn Montgomery, Sara Martens, Nancy Aken, and Duane Persinger who agreed to serve on the Associate Pastor Call Team. Please keep them in your prayers as they discern Gods direction for our next Associate Pastor at Trinity. |
